Dear John, I made a new logo, I had been doodling it for weeks and it was slowly taking on more form each time. I had been intending to use it for a run of fish based screen prints but Fred said I had a enough fish based briefs already (fair) so I decided to use it for my branding instead as it shows two important things for me; Fish and pattern. Well it's not exact pattern but its all neatly slotted in together, like when I make a good pattern. It also shows my colour choices straight away as mainly I used the colours I use most (including the pink one). When it came to drawing it properly I decided to try a few other pens to see if they would have a better flow but it turned out my usual choice of fine liners worked best. I did a test of one in more natural colours (or 70's colours) but I don't think that it works as well and the drawing that one is taken from is too busy. The others are much cleaner and allow for a little variation. In the end I decided to keep both the pink and the blue but to have the blue as y main branding with my handwritten name underneath.
